Glass fences in the shopping center “Respublika”

Client Tasks:

Within the construction of a large entertainment center, the customer set the task of installing glass fences in two functionally different areas — elevators and a play area. The main requirements are security, reliability, precise binding to the architecture and compliance with tight implementation deadlines.

Our solution:

For each zone, we have developed a separate engineering solution:

• In the elevator area there are glass fences with height installation, which needed a special approach to fasteners and logistics.
• In the play area there is an adaptive fencing system, which allowed to integrate structures even before the completion of all construction work. This saved time and kept the pace of the project.

How the project went:

Elevator fencing:

1. Coordination of types of materials and profiles.
2. Carrying out complex measurements at height — with the involvement of a specialist with equipment for high-altitude work.
3. Preparation and approval of the technical assignment.
4. Development of accurate drawings for subsequent manufacture.
5. Installation using equipment that can safely work with large-sized glass.

Play area:

1. Determination of materials and technical solution in conditions of incomplete information about the object.
2. Creation of a technical specification taking into account changes in the construction process.
3. The use of modern marking technology, which allowed one person to accurately mark 400 meters of structures in a short time — this significantly saved time.
4. Conducting installation in conditions of limited access to the facility — thanks to preliminary preparation, everything was realized accurately and quickly.
